In January of 2018 my health was going downhill fast, I had pulmonary sarcoidosis and spent most days eating the wrong food, and would sit at a desk during the majority of the work day. A friend encouraged me to seek help and that is when I met Ashlee.
We started our personal training workouts in a gym facility, which was actually very intimidating to me as an older woman, it was not your typical gym, it was a body building focused facility. Ashlee was there for me every step of the way. As a personal trainer, Ashlee customized my routine to optimize the kind of results that would have the best impact on me and my life. I was successful in losing weight and becoming stronger, she even helped me with food plans to ensure I got the results I was looking for. When COVID hit, we changed our workouts to virtual and I continue to workout with her twice a week. I have regressed a little with my weight due to working from home for the last two years but Ashlee continues to encourage me and support me every week. If you are considering personal training and prefer a private experience with a highly knowledgeable and “practice what you preach” individual, Ashlee is the trainer for you. She is warm, welcoming, funny, down to earth, and motivating. She truly cares about her clients. - Jacqueline J. |
I started with Ashlee to strengthen my spine due to accelerated spinal degeneration. My treatment plan involved strengthening the muscles around my spine and discs. Ashlee has taught me valuable knowledge regarding proper form and exercise substitutions that do not further cause any injuries. I would not have known where to start had I not found her. What drew me to her was not only her success in personal fitness but the fact she has a degree in psychology. Living with chronic pain, I needed someone to understand the mental portion of living with pain daily. She motivated me to push through my workouts though I felt pain and wanted to stop. During covid, she modified my training online. She's very adaptable and genuinely cares about her clients. I cannot thank her enough for the hard work she put into helping me attain a better quality of life and being able to do things such as going on a hike which I wouldn't have been able to do before training with her.

Without Ashlee's help, I would not be able to say, at 61 years of age, that I am the strongest and fittest I have been in my life.
A few years ago, I was 50+ lbs heavier than I am today and unable to climb a flight of stairs without my knees rebelling. I realized if I did not do something to improve my health, my golden years were not going to be much fun. I started the journey to lose weight and get fit on my own, cycling and dieting. Then I realized I needed to add formal strength training to improve my joint health. For the past 3 years, Ashlee has been my trainer. Meeting two to three days a week, she has provided me with interesting and varied workout routines, helped me overcome specific health issues (shoulder and knee pain), and most importantly, has kept me accountable -- despite the challenges of COVID, and being out of town a lot. Where I really notice the improvement from strength training is hill climbing on my road bike. Well, and looking in the mirror. I would not be where I am today without Ashlee's guidance, and I would not have any reservations recommending Ashlee to my friends. - Paul C. |
She helped make me feel comfortable and more knowledgeable during my workouts. She consistently made sure to touch base on how I was feeling, make workouts fun and challenging, and continue to push me to reach my personal and athletic goals. To add to the list, Ashlee's charismatic, warm personality makes her a pleasure to work with!

Ashlee has taught me so much! I never thought I would exceed my initial expectations. By showing me the correct way to gain, I changed from a toothpick to strongman. She cares about the work we both put in more than any other trainer I've had. Having her in my corner makes me feel like I can't let her down and it's driven me further than I thought possible.
